The ThinPrep® Pap Test collection vial is used globally for cervical sample collection and preservation, trusted by healthcare professionals around the world. More than 1 billion ThinPrep vials have been used globally for cervical cancer screening. Only a single sample is required for both cytology and molecular testing.1 In addition to the Aptima® HPV assay, Aptima Combo 2® and Aptima® Trichomonas vaginalis Assays can also be tested from the vial.

ThinPrep® PreservCyt® Solution
A solution for cytology preparation, enabling disease detection across cytopathology in one standardised process and slide preparation. It has a 20 mm diameter filter and an optimised pore size for capture of relevant cellular material.2,7
ThinPrep® UroCyte™ - Designed for Urinary Tract Cytology
Standardised slide preparation for urine cytology and slide-based molecular diagnostic testing. Only a small cell deposit is required for efficient interpretation and to maximise reagent usage. The 10mm diameter UroCyte filter is designed for urinary tract cytology and for use with UroVysion™ Bladder Cancer Kit and uCyt™ for recurrent bladder cancer.8

A Patient Friendly Experience
Out-of-the-vial testing minimises the number of samples required for multiple test results. For cervical cancer screening in the case of a first positive or abnormal result, the reflex testing can be directly performed from the same primary sample. This versatile application improves patient comfort and avoids additional follow-up.
